NATEF  Diesel Technology
 
This program meets the requirements for NATEF Master Accreditation-the highest level of achievement recognized by the National Automotive Technician Education Foundation.  The two year program will prepare students for an entry-level Diesel Technician position.  The program provides entry-level skills and knowledge in all phases of diesel equipment repair, preventative maintenance, personal and shop management, parts work for transportation, construction, mobile and stationary diesel equipment applications.  Student have an opportunity to earn an ASE student certification (Diesel Engines, Steering & Suspension, Electrical/Electronic Systems & Brakes).
 
To complete all the required skills, high school students attend three hours per day for two school years.  Adults may complete in one year by attending six hours per day.

Frank Stafford  Mr. Stafford worked for Dean Machinery and Diamond International Trucks since 1989. He has been an instructor at NCC since August, 2008, and is an ASE Master Medium/Heavy Truck Technician. He has received the Northland Chamber of Commerce Excellence in Education award.

Dual and/or Articulated Credit

Program completers can receive up to 24 college credits from Missouri State Technical College.
