Four candidates have filed for three positions on the Platte County R-3 School District's Board of Education. Filing closed for Board of Education candidates on Jan. 17. Candidates (listed in filing order) are as follows:
The annual municipal and school election will be held on April 4, 2017. Incumbent Board member Julie Vanover did not file as a candidate. The last day to register to vote in this election is March 8, 2017. Patrons may register to vote in any of the Platte County R-3 School facilities or at the Board of Elections offices.
