Long Term Leave Process

Do you or an immediate family member have an upcoming medical procedure? Will you need to be out for maternity or paternity leave? If so, your leave may qualify under FMLA (Family Medical Leave Act). This leave provides certain employees with up to 12 weeks of unpaid, job-protected leave per year to care for yourself or to care of an immediate family member (spouse, child, or parent) with a serious health condition. Please see the attached process map. You can email or call Kashca Omundson in Human resources for assistance at [email protected] or 816-858-5420 x 2128
