April 6, 2021 No Tax Increase Bond Program:
Improved Facilities that Plan for our Future
Thank you for visiting PCR-3's 2021 No Tax Increase Bond Program webpage. All content on this site is intended for informational purposes only.
After engaging our Long-Range Facility Plan Task Force for more than two years to review data and prioritize our District's future plans, PCR-3's Board of Education approved the Task Force's recommended project priorities in May 2019. The proposed April 2021 bond issue will be presented at no increase to the current tax levy because of a combination of effective financial management and strong growth in our tax base.
Considering educational, financial, and growth management perspectives, the Task Force identified the following projects, and Platte County School District is asking voters to consider a $73 Million No Tax Increase Bond Issue on the April 6, 2021 ballot.
Pending voter approval, these projects and improvements will:
- Provide necessary educational space to accommodate projected enrollment growth
- Address facility equity challenges at the middle school level
- Provide an improved learning environment at the high school
- Enhance safety, security, and technology district-wide
- Establish a balanced transition for students from elementary school (K-5) to middle school (6-8) to high school (9-12)
