Before the first home Pirates football game on August 26, 90 PCHS seniors were recognized for pledging to promote positive character and mentor younger students by helping them realize they can be successful by making healthy choices and being drug-free.
In partnership with the
Platte County Prevention Coalition, Wells Bank, and Meredith Gutshall Photography, these seniors are featured on “Got Character” Pirates ROCK monthly trait posters that will be hung throughout the District and community. They also are featured on their own “Got Character” trading card and each month a group of these students will connect with each elementary and middle school to talk about their character trait, their pledge, and what it means to them.
